Participation as a shareholder in Phoenix is available to any veterinarian licensed and residing in the state of Washington, as well as employees of the Laboratory.

Membership entitles the shareholder to not only participation in the direction and philosophy of the Laboratory, but also assists in building a Northwest regional laboratory dedicated to the rapid reporting of quality test results.

Phoenix Central Laboratory was conceived in 1987 as a facility which would place profit in a secondary role to service for the veterinary community, with an additional purpose of creating a stable, long-lasting source of diagnostic assistance to practitioners.

The purchase of shares through the Laboratory, or directly from other shareholders, also can provide financial advantages to the member.
