Dr. Baldessari attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill prior to being accepted to veterinary school at North Carolina State University, from which she graduated in 1992. Audrey practiced large and small animal medicine for four years before completing a residency at North Carolina State University. She was board certified in veterinary pathology in 2001. Dr. Baldessari continues to practice emergency small animal medicine, and does research in developmental genetics of enteric dysmotility at Children’s Regional Hospital.
