Dr. Garner graduated from Washington State University in l987 and joined the Phoenix Central Laboratory team in l993. He practiced small and exotic animal medicine for four years in Kent, Washington before beginning his residency training in anatomic pathology at the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida, Dr. Garner received the C.L Davis student scholarship for Excellence in Veterinary Pathology, as well as awards for teaching excellence. Dr. Garner is a member of several zoo and wildlife disease associations and has many publications dealing with non-domestic species. In addition to providing consultation in anatomic pathology, cytology, and avian/exotic animal diseases, Dr. Garner is the owner of Northwest ZooPath, a pathology practice specializing in non-domestic species. Personal interests include family, outdoor recreation, wildlife conservation, vintage motorcycles and music. |
